The Science Based Targets initiative, SBTi, is an initiative launched in 2015 in the context of the Paris Agreement. SBT (Science Based Target) are set by companiesin order to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

Scapa is committed to reducing scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 58% by 2030, based on 2018 measurements. Based on 2021 data, the required annual reduction is 6.99%. Achieving the target requires transformation, and also, it is not a single fight: The goal will be tackled in close cooperation with our suppliers and customers. We have started the journey, and together we can make a difference!
