My sofa is upholstered in Kentucky fabric - how do I maintain it?

Kentucky/Bonded leather is a granulated leather, which is blended with polyester. The material is very durable and for everyday use no extra maintenance is required. To protect the material from the start, the use of Leather Master Textile Clean & Protect is recommended. Textile Protection is a textile impregnation that effectively protects against food and liquid stains and makes the textile easier to keep clean. When cleaning stains: always avoid rubbing too much as this can cause damage. It is also important not to use any detergent that leaves residues in the material. Kentucky/Bonded leather must NOT be maintained with other leather creams or other leather care products as this may cause the material to crack.
