How should I place my sofa or armchair?

All furniture is affected by direct sunlight, even the most colourfast materials can fade. Therefore, all furniture should be protected from direct sunlight. Especially during the winter months when the sun is low and directly shines into our homes, it is recommended to draw curtains or blinds.

Use floor protectors underneath your sofa or armchair to protect the floor from scratches and damage. Never place the sofa directly against a wall; there should always be an air gap of about 5 cm between the sofa and the wall.
