Care instructions for feather and down cushions

Back cushions with a loose or a feather padding are pressed together when sitting on the sofa. These cushions need regular maintenance to keep their shape. They need to be beaten, shaken and rattled, so don't be afraid to touch them properly when you do this. If the design of the sofa allows it, it's good to swap their places from time to time, and to rotate the cushions to ensure they are evenly worn.

It happens that feathers come out of the cushion, that is unavoidable. The feathers are squeezed together when you sit on the sofa and then the tip of the feather pokes through the cover more easily. That's why it's important to shake, tap and rattle your cushions and pillows thoroughly on a regular basis.
